Taylor Deupree runs New York's influential 12K which has been pivotal in defining the lowercase/microsound genre. Curating 1999's 'Microscopic Sound' (Caipirinha), Taylor has been at the forefront of establishing a long-overdue return to well-designed, well-packaged and well-informed resolutely independent label releases.
Fällt began collaborating with Deupree in 2000 and have released numerous works by him including: 'invalidObject Series (continue)' in 2000's acclaimed 'invalidObject Series'; '35 mm » Design in Miniature', a design exhibition in miniature; and design remix project 'Vs'. He also contributed a portrait of New York as part of the touring installation 'Invisible Cities'.
