Operating under a variety of guises - Vend and Qubik to name but a few - Joe Gilmore has been creating innovative works spanning a variety of media for a number of years.
With critically acclaimed releases on LINE (under his collaborative Vend guise) and through his role as coordinator of rand()%, an online random radio project launched as part of the Ultrasound Festival in 2004, he has established himself as a pivotal player on the global experimental electronic circuit, most recently collaborating with Mark Fell and Mat Steel as part of the collective Blir.
Fällt began collaborating with Gilmore in 2000 and have released numerous works by him including: 'untitled folder' (First Edition [2001], Second Edition [2008]); the 'Gizmo Variations' (under the alias Klunk); he was also a contributor to the Fehler curated 'Apocrypha' which exhibited in Naples as part of electronic arts festival Sintesi.
