Mitte, Berlin based collective Pfadfinderei's extruded angular forms and shards of colour echo the Designers' Republic's architectural motifs for Autechre. Abstract shapes and forms in strange landscapes which are never allowed to sit still. 100% vector-based - 98% Flash - in their own words: "live.video.mixing with flash.animations / via laptop in collaboration / with real.pic.movies…"
Pfadfinderei - literally translated as 'pathfinders' (or Scouts) - have featured in several books published by Die Gestalten Verlag, notably 'Labland'. In addition Pfadfinderei founder Critzla has released several typefaces through influential type foundry FontFont.
Pfadfinderie first collaborated with Fällt as part of the Fehler curated '35 mm » Design in Miniature' which has exhibited internationally.
