A sound artist and former architect Janek Schaefer is perhaps best known for his triphonic turntable - a unique turntable featuring three arms which is able to play from three locations of a record simulataneously.
His work has been celebrated internationally and he has released critically acclaimed works on a variety of labels including Fat Cat, ::Room40::, Mutek and Rhiz.
Schaefer first collaborated with Fällt to create an audio portrait of London as part of the touring installation 'Invisible Cities'.
