'DIY Digital Audioâ„¢'

Fodder was established in 2000 as a sublabel of Fällt to release an ongoing series of digital audio/visual works.

Fodder releases are 'packaged' using MP3 and PDF technologies for pure digital distribution. Consisting of virtual 'A' and 'B' sides created to fit within a download-friendly format, each release on Fodder features specially commissioned artwork housed within a standardised format supplied in Adobe's popular PDF format. Embracing a 'distribute then print' concept, each release is designed to be easily assembled once downloaded.

Fodder's inaugural release 'Kid_Newtown/Kolc' - an incessant-breakbeat-meets-stadium-rock Double A-Side by mysterious Australian artist Ted Sulkowicz - featured a full colour sleeve by Fällt designers Fehler. The second release in the series - an algorithmic spray of data by UK artists Slub - features a collaborative bitmap sleeve by Slub and Fehler. F.0020.0003 features the work of Notype label-owner David Turgeon (aka Camp): a post-click/static-house Double B-Side, 100% sourced from the Force Inc. back catalog. Laptop wielders DAT Politics supply a typically humorous mix 'Rag Bag' in the fourth release on Fodder.

The Series design by Fällt designers Fehler has featured in 'Sampler 3' by design critic Adrian Shaughnessy and 'CD Art - Innovation in CD Packaging Design'.
